It was a beautiful morning Saturday, Jan 28, and perfect for the seven WWC members who participated in a 4K hike in the East End of Brandon!

James & Olwen, Bob, Shannon, Judy, Rick & Sue met at 10 am at Crow’s General Store where we were welcomed by Mr. Ditchfield. We hiked along the Assiniboine River and around his and Dave Barnes’s properties. It was fun to tour the area; there were all kinds of unique buildings and structures to check out. What we thought was an old wood chipper turned out to be an air blower from an old car wash in Brandon!

Following our hike, we enjoyed coffee & hot chocolate at the store (thanks James for treating!), and listened to old records. If you have never been to Crow’s it is a very unique, cozy little spot!

Judy, Rick & Sue then enjoyed a hot tub & pot luck lunch at Rick & Sue’s.
