We explore Manitoba wilderness areas in both day and overnight trips of:
- Hiking and Backpacking
- Canoeing
- Mountain biking
- Cross-country skiing and Snowshoeing
- Summer and Winter camping
We also provide information at our scheduled meetings (every four months) about club activities.

The Westman Wilderness Club, formed in the spring of 1976, to provide a pool of individuals with like-minded interest in outdoor activities. It is the aim of the organization to enjoy our wilderness areas by self-propelled means in a non-competitive manner, with zero environmental impact.
We are people of all ages with varying levels of experience who wish to enjoy outdoor life throughout the seasons. We welcome newcomers of all levels of skill and experience who wish to share our enjoyment of Manitoba’s outdoors. Through these activities, members can enjoy nature, meet new friends, learn or teach safety and survival skills, and learn about plant and animal life.
