  • Look for more information about  Jane’s Jaunts.  These will be Friday afternoon walks around Brandon on different trails.  More dates to follow.  These dates will often involve tea.

    • Join Ron for a hike on the Lauder Sand Hills. You may see crocuses blooming and interesting cacti.  These hills are located south west of Souris near Hartney.  No Dogs are allowed on this hike. Hiking boots are required.   Call Ron 204 648-4078  for more information.

  • May 3 

    • Join Robert Shwaluk for a bike around Shoal Lake.  It’s about 14 km with no hills and a snack stop at the South End.  Call Robert 204 759-2412. 

  • May 30 

    • Bike the TransCanada Trail between Erickson and Sandy Lake.  This is a good path to bike on.  Judy will send more details later. 

  • June 6 

    • Join Jackie and Fred car camping at Lake William  in the Turtle Mountains. Contact call  204 728-4949.

    • Join James and the Westman Wilderness Club for a hike where you may have never been in the far end of the Brandon Hills Wildlife Management Area Contact James at jb2@mts.net  for more information.  Additional details for the hike will be updated on https://www.westmanwildernessclub.ca/upcoming-events and sent out by email prior to the event.

    • Join Sue for a bike ride around Brandon call 724-5380

  • Tuesday Evening  Paddles

    • Join the Westman Wilderness Club for an evening  paddle down the Little Saskatchewan River. Starting from Kirkham Bridge and finishing at the Glenorky Bridge will take approximately 2 hours depending on water levels.

  • Wednesday Evening Paddles

    • Join Roger and Cheryl for paddling on the more quiet waters of the Assiniboine.  Usually starting at Dinsdale park and paddling upstream as far as you want before returning.  Call Cheryl 204 724-7527
